Scoville Mexican Canteen asked the zynk Design team to create a restaurant design fitting for the launch of a new contender in the competitive yet lucrative Mexican Street food market.
The Brief
zynk applied its creative flair to develop an interior concept and brand identity for the new restaurant design. It was essential to establish the brand quickly in the market and secure its positioning within the competitive landscape.
The Solution
zynk created a stylish urban design which wasn’t overtly Mexican in appearance yet communicated the core product to a given target market. zynk then extended elements of this identity throughout the restaurant design, combining polished concrete, rough cut timbers and sand blasted steel to give the scheme an urban undertone. Bespoke designed pendant lights added further space, character and warmth to the venue.
