Horizon is Oman’s leading health and fitness provider. Established in 1997, it has now grown to more than 23 venues with ambitious plans for further expansion.
Over the next four years, Horizon plans to increase its portfolio to over 37 sites and asked zynk to create a design blueprint for future venues. zynk’s brief included redefining the entire Horizon customer experience from brand identity through to interior personality for each venue.
zynk presented Horizon with three different design directions before proceeding with an agreed primary colour palette comprising blue, yellow and purple. Internal configurations were reconceptualised to improve customers’ journeys from initial sign-up through all health and fitness zones. zynk also had to consider cultural requirements for separate male and female areas, plus mixed areas for expats, ensuring the smooth processing of all members between each zone.
