The renovation of Better Gym Connswater redefines the existing facility as a dynamic, energised environment designed to support movement for all users. Centred around the concept of motion, the design draws inspiration from the building’s existing curved structure, allowing form, flow and circulation to shape the spatial experience.

Lighting plays a key role in this transformation. A bold, layered lighting feature forms a visual centrepiece, creating an immediate sense of energy from the moment you enter the space. The tonal colour palette adds depth and contrast against the blue wash of light, reinforcing Better Gym’s brand identity throughout.

The gym has been fully re-equipped with new fitness equipment and features a central 13-metre track designed to host high-impact classes, encouraging interaction. Two dedicated studios, a free weights area and an open-plan community hub complete the redesign, supporting a social and motivating fitness experience.
