Southwark Council is committed to making a real difference to the quality of life for local people. We provide inclusive, high-quality, accessible leisure services. Offering swimming, gym, fitness classes and more, there is something for everyone at your local leisure centre. The local authority took back control of it’s leisure centres, and now has 7 within its portfolio.
The Brief
Southwark Council Leisure appointed zynk as the interior design partner to undertake the transformation of their leisure centres. They understood their facilities were dated and in need of a serious investment. zynk have designed a complete or partial refurbishment to 6 of their centres, helping to enhance the member experience and create premium training facilities.
